Demonstrates my love of the lanes that can be found around Melbourne. As a genre artist I find many subjects for my paintings in my excursions into laneway life including animals life such as cats and dogs. In one of my walks in the lanes I saw a cat peeping through a broken fence and from here the idea for the painting was born.
