Watching the Cabbages Grow

Oil on canvas. 60cm x 90cm. Framed. My very first succesful genre study which gave me the idea for the later paintings of "Barney Glade and his Contentments" and "Man the Gardener". It was exhibited at Ivanhoe Girls Grammar School Art Show in 2002 and purchased by a well known Melbourne businessman. Still one of my favourites as it demonstrates my love of Aussie backyards.
