The fascinating photography of Ed Obermeyer
Many regular readers may remember our blog in July 2020 showcasing the fabulous artwork of Ed Obermeyer in Virginia Beach, USA: Click here.
In that blog, I focused entirely on Ed’s artworks which are taken from his own photography; taken whilst treading water in the surf, or whilst travelling, or even in his own garden or local parks.
I noticed that Ed has updated his photo of himself "at the office", so today I would like to take you to Ed’s website so you can spend some time looking at his 2020 collection of photographs. I am particularly struck by the many images that are just split a second in time, and then gone forever ………. But the movement has been skillfully captured by Ed and his sophisticated cameras to fascinate and delight us.
For example, the Hummingbird just about to alight on flower nectar stand, or a wave just breaking, or a butterfly just landing on a flower....
So just relax, and spend a while looking at some more of Ed's 2020 surf photography…….
……….and a little while more amongst the birds and flowers of his garden....
