Lead Lighting with Andy Ferguson

Did you read Julie's wonderful post on Marion Griffon yesterday? Please check it out if you missed: [Marion Mahony Griffin – The power behind the architectural throne.....]. In the post on Marion Griffin, Julie included examples of the stained glass windows designed and made by Marion.

Some time back Julie and I were treated to a visit to the workshop of Andy Ferguson son of the famous John Ferguson who made and installed thousands of stained glass windows across Australia and New Zealand.

This was preceded by a post on Ferguson and Urie, who were forerunners in this art between 1853 and 1899. If you misssed these posts please check them out by following the bookmark links below.

And I have included the wonderful video Julie made of Andy Ferguson at work in his studio if you don't want to read the posts but would like to see a master craftsman at work.
