Looking forward to resuming painting

My fingers are getting itchy as I near completing the website. Adding all the shopping cart info for each image is tedious and not nearly as much fun as painting hundreds of bricks!

Looking back over the last couple of months I have learnt so much about getting a website up and running and all it involves. I have also learnt a little about communicating on social media and still have a long way to go. But importantly I have learnt the value of Facebook and twitter as a communication tool and look forward to improving my skill.

What am I painting? I’m doing a series on looking through shapes made by structures like windows, old walls, arches. It is my intention to paint something of the past beyond the “window”. At the moment I’m getting the buildings of an old town painted. I’ve chosen a very small palette of two main colour-white and raw umber. As I have posted on Facebook Raw Umber is a wonderful colour to work with.Watch the town grow.
